Royal Restrooms Brings the Golden Throne Experience to Colorado Wedding Shows
For more than two decades, Royal Restrooms has believed that restrooms should elevate an event, not simply support it. That philosophy is exactly why our presence at wedding shows has never been ordinary.
Over 20 years ago, Royal Restrooms was the first company to bring a portable restroom trailer onto the floor of a wedding show. At the time, it was something people had never seen before. Vendors stopped. Brides paused. Conversations started.
Bathrooms were suddenly part of the wedding conversation.
Today, after 22 years and thousands of weddings, we continue to push the envelope on how we connect with couples and event planners. Recently we decided to change the way we approach wedding shows and bridal expos across the country, including here in Colorado.
Instead of simply setting up a booth, we created an experience.
When brides and grooms walk into a wedding show, they are often overwhelmed with information. There are photographers, venues, caterers, florists, DJs, and planners. Every booth looks beautiful. Every vendor has brochures and displays.
But we wanted to create something people would actually remember.
So we leaned into our personality.
If you have visited our booth recently, you probably noticed the purple suits, the Golden Throne, and of course our now famous purple toilet paper.
Yes, it gets attention.
Yes, it turns heads.
And yes, people absolutely love it.
Our booth is designed to do something simple but powerful. It makes people smile.
Brides sit on the Golden Throne.
Friends take pictures.
Vendors stop by to see what the excitement is about.
Suddenly a restroom company is the most talked about booth on the show floor.
What Brides Are Saying
One of the things we enjoy most about this new experience is hearing the reactions from couples and vendors.
“You were the most unexpected booth here, and honestly the most fun. I never thought I would sit on a golden toilet at a bridal show but here we are.”
Bride attending the Boulder Wedding Show
“We could see your purple suits coming from across the convention floor. Everyone kept saying we had to come see what was going on at your booth.”
Denver bridal show attendee
“This was the first time a restroom company actually made us laugh and helped us understand why bathrooms matter for weddings.”
Wedding planner visiting the booth
“The Golden Throne photos are now part of our bridal show memories. It was hilarious and actually one of the highlights of the day.”

These moments remind us that weddings are not just about logistics. They are about creating experiences and memories.
And that is exactly what we aim to do with every event we serve.

Why Restrooms Matter at Colorado Weddings
Colorado weddings are known for incredible settings. Mountain venues, outdoor ranch celebrations, scenic vineyards, and rustic barns are all part of what makes weddings here so special.
But outdoor venues also require thoughtful planning when it comes to guest comfort.
Luxury restroom trailers provide:
• Climate controlled comfort
• Modern interiors with flushing toilets
• Running water and sinks
• Lighting and mirrors for guests
• ADA accessible options
These details ensure that guests enjoy the entire event without ever feeling like they are using a temporary facility.
It is a small detail that can make a big difference in the overall guest experience.
Continuing the Experience in Denver
As we continue attending wedding shows in cities like Denver, our goal remains simple.
We want to meet couples.
Share a laugh.
Create a memorable moment.
And most importantly, show how a restroom trailer can quietly elevate an entire wedding celebration.
If you see the purple suits walking across the show floor, you will know exactly where to find us.
Come say hello.
Sit on the Golden Throne.
Grab some purple toilet paper.
Take a photo. Post it, tag us on Facebook and Instagram.
It may be the most unexpected stop you make at a wedding show.
But it just might be the one you remember most. So come see us at the Denver Bridal & Wedding Show this weekend.
